We’re looking for a new colleague to join our Legal team! As a Junior Legal Counsel at MeeMaken, you have a thirst for learning: you’re constantly curious and eager to learn. You’re open to feedback to improve your work and aren’t afraid to provide it when necessary. In your work, you take pride in what you produce and seize every opportunity to further develop your skills. You have a true pioneering spirit!
As a member of MeeMaken’s Legal team, you will provide legal and contractual support to our portfolio companies. This includes drafting and negotiating contracts and non-disclosure agreements, advising on contractual issues during projects, and handling various other business matters. In addition, you will also be involved in governance activities related to CSRD. You will work with and report to the Legal Counsel. With companies in various locations, your workday begins in Zaandam or Beverwijk. After grabbing a cup of coffee at the office, you’ll consult with the Legal Counsel and get to work!
Who is MeeMaken?
MeeMaken is a private equity firm that’s a little different from other private equity firms. We are an active investment firm with a global network and a strong portfolio of (online) training companies, as well as manufacturing, service, and rental companies in the (sustainable) energy sector. We operate in sectors that complement one another, allowing us to benefit from each other’s knowledge and expertise. We don’t invest to sell, but to pool our talents, networks, and resources and contribute to a better world and community. As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will primarily support our portfolio companies Selmers and KenzFigee.
Who are we looking for?

- The ability to work with a diverse and international group of people.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably.
- Proactive, flexible, dynamic, persuasive, curious, and responsible are your personality traits.
- Deadlines are no problem thanks to your excellent time management skills!
- Precision is central to the way you work.
