Are you our new Junior Legal Counsel?

We are looking for a new team member for our Legal team! As a Junior Legal Counsel working for MeeMaken, you possess a learning mindset: you are constantly curious and eager to learn. As a member of the Legal team of MeeMaken, you support our portfolio companies in legal and contracting matters. This includes drafting and negotiating contracts, Non- Disclosure Agreements, advice on contracting issues during projects and various other corporate matters. Next to this, you will also be involved in governance actions regarding CSRD. You work together with and report to the Legal Counsel. With companies in various locations, your working day will start in Zaandam or Beverwijk. After grabbing a coffee at the office, you meet up with the Legal Counsel and get to work!

As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will mainly support our portfolio companies Selmers and KenzFigee.

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant area of law (for example, Business Law, Maritime Law or Private International Law).
  • The ability to work under general supervision, in accordance with procedures.
  • The ability to work with a diverse and international group of people.
  • Great communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proactive, adaptable, dynamic, convincing, curious, and responsible are your personality traits.
  • Deadlines are no problem with your great time management skills!
  • Attention to detail is a staple of your work.
