eWorks was founded following requests from industrial companies to develop eLearning solutions for physical safety, in addition to paying attention to cyber security. Since 2018, the company is part of the MeeMaken portfolio.

In 2021, MeeMaken has extended the (online) learning portfolio with Splintt and Philpaper. Together, eWorks, Infosequre, Splintt and Philpaper, now form the BeOne Development Group. The combined group will be a leading provider of digital learning solutions, with clients in manufacturing, construction, finance, healthcare & wellness, and the public sector. The combined product range will be a one-stop shop for online learning solutions.
