About MeeMaken
MeeMaken is an active investment company with a global network. We have a strong portfolio of (online) learning companies, as well as manufacturing, service, and rental businesses in the (sustainable) energy sector. We aim to create long-term value through responsible investing and to embed ESG principles in our strategy, governance, and day-to-day operations. As part of our evolving ESG agenda, we are looking for a passionate and driven Sustainability Strategy Intern, starting January/February 2026, to help develop our sustainability roadmap for 2026 and beyond.
Your role
- As a Sustainability Strategy Intern, you will work closely with our ESG and investment team and contribute to:
- Developing the Sustainability Strategy 2026, aligned with our investment philosophy and global ESG trends
- Creating sustainability policies for internal use and for our portfolio companies
- Designing improvement projects to strengthen environmental and social performance across the organization
- Identifying gaps between current practices and our sustainability ambitions
- Embedding sustainability into daily operations and company culture
Who we are looking for
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in sustainability, business administration, public policy, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and excellent writing ability
- Passionate about ESG, climate action, and sustainable finance
- Independent and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with, or interest in, private equity or corporate strategy is a plus
